This opportunity is a door for those individuals where you can play an important role in the development of futuristic technology that is being built in a new project in Paris. The job is basically overseeing the designing of the product, its development, and the mechanical system’s implementation in these products. When the project progresses you will be charged with more responsibilities like traveling to the work site and interacting with the global vendors.
Background of the Project
The client that is running this project is based on mining of the lithium in Paris, France.
The project is going to start in 2028 and the goal of the client is to produce approximately 34,000 tons of lithium annually for the next 25 years. This project is in the development stage currently and plant pilot and other related stuff are being constructed and will be commissioned by 2025.
The Role
Being a senior mechanical engineer for the converter you will be responsible for taking the lead in multiple important areas of the project;

Overseeing Design and Implementation
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the design of the mechanical system, along with the development and implementation of it. Also overseeing the other processer of the converter facility.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
You must collaborate and work in a close manner with other engineers, operators operations, and other teams like maintenance teams to make sure the results are efficient and time is not being wasted in converted operations. The deadlines should be met.
Guiding Engineering Teams
Being a leader you must be able to provide guidance and be a supervisor to engineering and designers who are involved in this project.
Ensuring Design Quality
Make sure the quality of each and every design in the converter facility is based on quality. The results are delivered efficiently and cost-effectively.
Safety Focus
Safety measures must be the priority and ensure safety standards are followed, Promote health and safety environmental protocols.

Skills and Qualifications Required
A bachelor’s degree in BSC, BEng, or BTech in engineering is required to land this job. the national diploma can also do this job with the experience of ten (10) years in the relevant field is required.
You must have strong knowledge and understanding of the design of mechanical systems that include hydraulics systems, pneumatics, and material handling equipment.
The applicant should also have knowledge of software like word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and other software basically used in this field.
Experience in constuction and projects of industrial level.
The applicant should be able to lead and communicate clearly to interact with coworkers and colleagues betterly. Having problem solving skill is also important, it makes a person proactive in any mishap.
The fluency in English language is required along with Franch language since you will be working in France so it is better to have hold over these languages.
Experience with working in multicultural environment is preffered.
