CONDITIONS FOR PHOTOGRAPHS:
The requirements from China regarding your photos are very strict. They demand electronically submitted photographs that meet the standard set by the Chinese Consulate.
The background should be white and not older than six months.
Must show a full view of your face and head, with no glasses or cap on. Face in the middle with neutral expressions. Proper light and no shadows will be accepted.
Should be 48mm tall and 38mm wide. 48×38.
Quality paper for printing.
Do not attach the passport to your application, and ensure there are no signs of adhesive tape or staples.
JOB LETTER:
You need to acquire an official invitation letter from your employer or host, and the organization would be responsible for the arrangements of the job letter or invitation letter. The letter should contain the duration and dates of your stay, feature your name as it appears in your passport, and explicitly request a ‘Z’ visa.

PROOF OF RESIDENCY:
Proof of residency is required by the Chinese Consulate. The country you are living in and applying for the Visa from, china will require proof of it. it can either be a National Identity Card or a Driving License. Utility bills can be used for the purpose as well apart from cable or television bills.
Ensure that your name closely matches the one on your passport.
The address provided in the visa application must align with the proof of residence.
