The Role

The role of a mechanical engineer in Chiba with the expertise and the interest in UAVs or drones that falls in the field of Mechanical engineering will demand the design and development of the next level and futuristic drones for many application purposes. Not only the design or shape is required to be futuristic but also the functionality. The applicant will lead and propose the improvements for already designed and built drones and their system. Along with planning schedule the applicant will control the whole development process that starts from the research phase all the way to the product creation that consists of various steps in between.

Your Responsibilities

As the mechanical engineer you will have certain responsibilities to do;

• Conduct the inspection of drone specifications with charging stations and all other related equipment.
• Use your knowledge and experience in mechanical design to create the interior and exterior of outdoor drones, charging stations, and other related equipment.
• After creating a prototype, analyze and evaluate it. Make sure they meet company standards. 
• Have a key role in raising any technical issue during the testing phase or after customer feedback for drones that are already launched on the market.
• Collaborate with development subordinates to make sure the product is designed flawless and perfectly. 

Requirements

You are a perfect fit for this job if you fulfill certain requirements for the company as a mechanical engineer;

Experience:

• If you have a minimum of five 5 year experience in mechanical design, your proven record of experience is required in this field.
• Apart from your experience is mechanical design a strong experience of waterproof, dustproof and weatherproof properties is important for designing and development of drones so they can function is any weather condition effectively. This is especially for outdoor drones and in the season like typhoon or dust storms is some parts of Japan.

Experience in Drone Design

• The applicant is preferred if he/she has previous proven experience in drone designing. Having experience with these amazing flying machine ins a plus point.

History in Robot Development and competition

• If you have experience in robot design or robotics, this will surely guarantee that you have problem solving skill, this is a plus point.
• Must have the ability to integrate with mechanical and electronic components.
• A proven record of your leadership abilities which will ensure that you can guide and maintain a team under your command and achieve desired goals.
• Must have experience with designing and launching of small volume production of any product. Must understand the complexity of this role and the niche production. 
• Experience in designing small equipment.
• Familiarity with 3D designs software so you can work efficiently in the designing process of the drones.
