Notarized Proof of Status

This is the document whose notarized copy is required, it shows your legal residency status in your home country. 

Original Enrollment Letter

The Brazilian university or college where you’ll be studying must provide an original acceptance letter stating your program details (type and duration of studies). This document needs to be notarized by a “Cartório” in Brazil and confirm the institution’s registration with the Brazilian Ministry of Education.

• Students enrolling in short-term language or technical courses also need a copy of the institution’s registration with the Cadastro Nacional de Pessoas Juridicas (CNPJ).

Background Check

A recent background check might also be required by the authorities to ensure that there is no criminal record. 

Birth Certificate

If you are under eighteen years old you will need to submit an original and translated birth certificate in English version of your birth certificate.

Hotel Reservation or Residential Proof
