What is a Bahrain Family Visa?

Required Documents

  • The applicant must be registered with the LMRA as a responsible and legal person residing in Bahrain.
  • The monthly net income of the applicant must be more or equal to BHD 400.
  • Any existing permits held by your dependants must be valid for at least 7 working days upon application submission.
  • Dependents who have previous personal numbers must use it when they are applying for a family visa.
  • For newborns or those who got the new Bahrain passport, a new file will be required to be updated with the NPRA.

HOW TO APPLY

There is an EMS system of LMRA where the process is initiated, the application process for your dependant’s residency permit.

You need to print that application form confirmation for your records.

Application status needs to be tracked through the LMRA EMS system, the Express Service section on their website, or by calling them through the contract number.

Once Approved

You need to submit the visa Fee through the EMS system or through an accredited bank once you receive residency permit approval.

Print the Resident Permit by visiting the Bahrain website or contacting the authorities of NPRA.

There are certain things that are important to note is as those dependents who are over twenty-four years old (24), the NPRA department itself directly handles the issuance and renewal process of residency permits but according to their specific rules and regulations. 

Processing Time and Fee

The processing timeframe usually ranges from one (1) to ten (10) working days and can differ depending on your application origin country. The standard fee can also vary with time, it depends so it is important to check with official authorities, approximately the fee is BHD 90 according to the LMRA portal.
