Job Title: Security Officer

The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of people, property, and premises. The role involves monitoring security systems, conducting patrols, enforcing security policies, and responding to incidents to prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, or other threats.
Job Responsibilities:
Surveillance & Monitoring:
Monitor security cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify security risks.
Report suspicious activities, incidents, and breaches to the appropriate authorities.
Access Control & Incident Response:
Verify identification and credentials of visitors, employees, and contractors.
Control entry and exit points to ensure authorized access only.
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents.
Assist law enforcement and emergency responders as needed.
Safety & Compliance:
Enforce security policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, fire codes, and emergency protocols.
Provide guidance on security measures to employees and visitors.
Perform first aid or CPR when necessary (if trained).
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain accurate logs of incidents, patrols, and security breaches.
Prepare detailed reports on security-related occurrences.
Recommend improvements to enhance security measures.
Salary: 20.00 hourly / 40 hours per week

Job Requirements:
