If you want to withdraw your residence permit, that is also possible. This can be done if the student does not meet academic goals or lacks enough funds to continue his or her studies. 

In case of withdrawal, your university is responsible for letting the immigration office know that you are discontinuing your studies based on that particular reason, they will take action and cancel your visa/residence permit according to your will. 

Language Requirement 

To get admission to the Netherlands university, the applicant is required to have proficiency in the English language at least, but some programs require proficiency in Dutch as well. There are certain tests that the applicant must take like IELTS, TOEFL, etc.

EU/EEA Citizens

There is no restriction and no requirement for a work permit for citizens of the EU/EEA excluding Croatia, Switzerland, and Japan.

For Croatia and Other Countries

If you belong to Croatia you must get a work permit, but only an employer or an agency will apply for the work permit on your behalf. 

International Students

For other international students, there are specific work hours allowed by the government. The work hours are 10 hours per week and full time during summer months only.
