Job Responsibilities
Transport Services
As a hotel driver, you’ll be expected to:
- Safely transport guests between destinations using hotel-provided vehicles.
- Keep accurate, daily trip records, including start and end times, destinations, and any incidents (minor or major).
- Park the vehicle in its assigned area whenever it isn’t in use.
Vehicle Maintenance
Beyond driving, the role requires basic vehicle upkeep:
- Regularly check that the vehicle is clean, inside and out, and functioning properly.
- Maintain tire pressure and fluid levels, and refuel as needed, so guests are never delayed.
- Report any damage, minor or major, to your supervisor promptly.
Guest Interaction
- Greet guests warmly and professionally, ensuring their needs are met throughout the ride.
- Assist passengers who are disabled or carrying heavy luggage.
- Maintain a strong personal presentation and excellent, polite communication skills.
Safety and Reporting
- Report any incident or accident to management as soon as possible.
- Follow all safety regulations, from vehicle maintenance to wearing seatbelts.
Additional Duties
- Follow company policies on confidentiality and professionalism.
- Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Preferred:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- No specific work experience required beyond driving ability.
Required:
- A valid driver’s license.
Skills and Physical Requirements
- Good physical and mental fitness.
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
- No back or spine injuries.
- Ability to lift and carry items (such as luggage) up to 50 lbs alone, or 75 lbs with assistance.
- Ability to navigate uneven surfaces, ramps, or inclines.
- Strong communication skills and professional etiquette.
- Ability to operate and perform basic maintenance on a vehicle.
Salary and Benefits
The average salary for this role starts between AED 3,000 and AED 4,500 per month. Some positions offer additional bonuses, with pay varying based on experience, education, and skill set.
