Job Title: Dairy Farm

A Dairy Farm Worker is responsible for the daily care and management of dairy cattle, ensuring optimal milk production and overall herd health. Duties include feeding, milking, cleaning, and monitoring animal health, as well as maintaining farm equipment and facilities.
Job Responsibilities:
Animal Care & Milking:
Milk cows using automated or manual milking equipment.
Ensure cows are handled safely and comfortably.
Identify and report signs of illness, injury, or distress in animals.
Administer medications and assist with veterinary care as directed.
Feeding & Nutrition:
Prepare and distribute feed and water according to feeding schedules.
Monitor feed intake and adjust rations as necessary.
Maintain feeding equipment and storage areas.
Farm Maintenance & Cleaning:
Clean and sanitize milking parlors, barns, and stalls.
Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
Remove manure and maintain a clean, hygienic environment.
Record Keeping & Compliance:
Keep accurate records of milk production, animal health, and feeding schedules.
Follow farm biosecurity and safety protocols.
Ensure compliance with animal welfare and dairy industry regulations.
Salary: 2500Euro
